Research Agenda

Apart from the publications related to my PhD project on state theory, I currently work on three (inter-related) research agendas. The first one focuses on the effects of residual traces of “coloniality”, or what may be termed as ‘colonial durabilities’ in contemporary global and local politics in the DRC and elsewhere. The second looks at generating critical analytical knowledge on the roles, potentials and challenges of utilizing creative and interdisciplinary sets of methods in the study of international relations. The third, finally, seeks to integrate the notion of ‘ordinary politics’ as critique of the study and epistemologies of IR.
